Get Ready for WLAM 2025: A Month to Celebrate Landscape Architecture!

April is World Landscape Architecture Month (#WLAM2025)—a time to celebrate the impact of landscape architecture on communities and the environment. Aligning with the ASLA 2025 Conference on Landscape Architecture theme, this year's WLAM theme, “Beyond Boundaries,” highlights how landscape architects are breaking barriers to create innovative solutions for today.

How Can You Get Involved?

  • Kick off WLAM by following our prompts during the first week (April 1-5). Share photos, stories, or videos of your work. Use #WLAM2025 and tag @NationalASLA to be featured throughout the month.
  • Use the WLAM 2025 Toolkit with ready-to-share social media graphics and sample posts.
  • Join iAdvocate to support policies that advance landscape architecture.
  • Inspire the next generation by sharing ASLA's Tools for PreK-12 Teachers with local educators. Partner with schools or youth programs to introduce students to landscape architecture. 
  • Collaborate with your local AIA chapter during Architecture Week (April 13-19) to inspire the next generation of design professionals.
  • Celebrate Earth Day (April 22) by taking action with the Earth Day Network.
