New York City Grey to Green Conference - Oct 23, 2023
This conference will profile experts to explore New York City's newest stormwater and green roof development regulations as well as outstanding projects.
This one day event features plenary sessions on regulations and local laws and projects, set at the Brooklyn Grange's - Sunset Park Urban Rooftop Farm. Registration is $200 USD and includes meals and a tour of the Sunset Park rooftop farm and trade show. Afterwards, a networking reception will be held at Urbanstrong's Headquarters at the Navy Yards in Brooklyn.
Cascadia Region Grey to Green Conference - Nov 3, 2023
This one day conference in Vancouver will focus on new policy and project developments throughout the Cascadia region. Featuring plenary-style technical sessions, panel discussions, and a trade show, all aimed at equipping attendees with the knowledge and tools needed to implement more green roofs. Registration for the plenary style sessions will be $150 USD ($205 CAD).There will be a small trade show and a networking reception following the conference.
Both Cascadia and NYC Grey to Green should be approved of 7 CEUs from AIA, ASLA, and are already approved for 7 GRP credits.
NEW GRIMP Training - Boston Oct 16, New York City October 24, Vancouver November 2, 2023
This is a hands-on training event that compliments the Green Roof Professional (GRP) certification. GRIMP training involves working in small groups with industry experts to assemble multiple green roof systems. The training also includes 2.5 hours of online instruction focused on maintenance and a one hour multiple choice exam. Successful completion of the exam earns students the new GRIMP designation.
