EPA Campus RainWorks ChallengeDeadline to register: January 31, 2025 Entries due: April 22, 2025
The Campus RainWorks Challenge is open to institutions of higher education across the United States and its territories. With the support of a faculty advisor, teams that compete are asked to design an innovative green infrastructure project for their campus that effectively manages stormwater pollution and also provides additional benefits to the campus community and environment.
Call for Papers, Posters, and Student Scholarships for the 2025 Alliance for Historic Landscape Preservation (AHLP) ConferenceDeadline: February 7, 2025
Indianapolis, Indiana, known as the “Crossroads of America,” serves as the perfect backdrop for the 2025 AHLP Conference. Its unique position at the intersection of four major interstates and its proximity to 70% of the U.S. population within a day’s drive reflect the city’s historical and modern importance as a transit hub. This centrality will be a key focus as the conference explores how themes like Crossroads/Transit, Monuments, Reclaimed Industrial Sites, Manufacturing Developments, and Parks shape the historic and urban landscapes of Indianapolis and beyond.

The Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers (CTLA) invites your input on the current tenth edition of the Guide for Plant Appraisal. We encourage all stakeholders to share their feedback by specifying the section in question, stating their comment, proposing a revision for the section, and including a rationale for the suggested change. Following this public comment period, CTLA will develop the eleventh edition of the Guide for Plant Appraisal.

Greenbuild is looking for education content that can be presented in-person as part of the 2025 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo in Los Angeles, CA, November 4-7, 2025. Topics for sessions include: Nature-Based Solutions, Resilient Design, and Healthy Spaces for All.
2025 AARP Community ChallengeDeadline: March 5, 2025
In 2025, the AARP Community Challenge is accepting applications across three different grant opportunities. Categories include: creating vibrant public places that improve open spaces, parks and access to other amenities; delivering a range of transportation and mobility options that increase connectivity, walkability, bikeability, and access to public and private transit; and reconnecting communities divided by infrastructure, with a focus on people age 50+.
Call for Abstracts: International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) World CongressDeadline: March 15, 2025
The 61st World Congress of the International Federation of Landscape Architecture (IFLA) will take place in Nantes, France, from September 10-12, 2025, under the theme "Guiding Landscapes." The congress is an opportunity to share best practices and insights from practitioners and researchers around the world, aiming to make the actions of landscape architects and associated professionals even more virtuous and effective.

ASLA's Women in Landscape Architecture Professional Practice Network (WILA PPN) call for submissions from women in the profession remains open. All are welcome to share this call—the PPN hopes to highlight diverse voices of landscape architects, including those who are active in their chapters or in their local communities, with perspectives from all career path stages, wherever that path may be taking you.
