Download the finished graphic to your computer and print enough copies to distribute to each student at the beginning of the semester.
Share the one-pager at your first general body meeting, interest meeting, orientation event, and other chapter activities.
If your chapter does not have a printing budget, ask your program director or department to support printing costs.

The form also gives students the option to sign up for ASLA National Student Membership in addition to joining your on-campus chapter.
How to use this:
Click the link below and verify your school email address.
Once your email is verified, you’ll receive an email with a link to access the sign-up form.
Complete all required fields in the form.
If you select “Yes” to sign up for ASLA National, you’ll be guided through a few additional steps.
If you select “No” you’ll be taken directly to the end of the survey.

As a recent graduate, I can honestly say that ASLA membership has been incredibly beneficial throughout my four years at the University of Maryland. It helped me build relationships with practicing professionals, explore different career paths, and grow my network. Attending both local and national events—especially the ASLA Conference—has deepened my understanding of the profession and opened my eyes to the many directions a career in landscape architecture can take. I definitely plan to continue my membership after graduation.
