ASLA Professional and Student Awards Images Terms of Use

For Members of the Press

Please send requests for high-res images to press@asla.org. Please include your title, publication name, publication URL, requested use (print or online), along with any deadlines for the images requested.

For any Professional Award image(s) provided by ASLA to the media, media must include the following information in the image credits:

ASLA Professional Award category, award type, and year award was issued; the project title, location (city, state, country), firm name(s); along with the names of the photographer(s) or graphic designer(s), as listed on the ASLA Professional Awards website.

For any Student Award image(s) provided by ASLA to the media, media must include the following information in the image credits:

ASLA Student Award category, award type, and year award was issued; the project title, location (city, state, country), university name, student name(s), faculty advisor name(s); along with the names of the photographer(s) or graphic designer(s), as listed on the ASLA Student Awards website.

The sublicense of the ASLA Professional or Student Awards image(s), if approved by ASLA, grants the sublicensee a one-time, non-exclusive right to publish the image(s) in a print and/or online article and on social media with proper attribution. The sublicensee shall not further sub-license, transfer, reproduce, or distribute the image(s) in any manner.

For students, faculty, authors, researchers, institutions, and allied professionals
 
ASLA cannot sublicense ASLA Professional and Student Awards images to students, faculty, authors, researchers, institutions, allied professionals, etc.

Please contact the firms, organizations, universities, or photographers that may own the copyright(s) of the ASLA Professional or Student Awards image(s) and request a license to use the image(s).

ASLA is not able to facilitate communication with the copyright owners.
