Honors & Awards

Fellowship recognizes individuals' contributions to their profession and society at large through their work, leadership and management, knowledge, and service. The designation of Fellow is conferred on individuals in recognition of exceptional accomplishments over a sustained period of time.

ASLA Honors are reserved for the profession’s most exceptional contributors—those whose leadership, creativity, and service have changed lives and landscapes. Chosen by the ASLA Board of Trustees, these distinctions reflect the profound gratitude of the landscape architecture community.

The ASLA Awards honor the most accomplished designs and work of today professionals as well as spotlight the ideas and effort of the students who will shape tomorrow. Each year, leading practitioners, emerging designers, and students submit projects that restore habitats, strengthen communities, and elevate the human experience of place.
