The President's Medal

This medal is awarded each year to an ASLA member for unselfish and devoted service to ASLA at the national level over a period of not less than five years

Nominations may be made by an ASLA professional member or an ASLA chapter. Nominations are to be kept confidential. Nominees should not be made aware of their nominations or asked to participate in the preparation of their nomination materials.

Authorized by the Executive Committee in 1978, the ASLA President's Medal is given at the discretion of the ASLA President. The recipient of the medal is kept confidential until it is presented at the annual Conference on Landscape Architecture.

Eligibility: The recipient must be an ASLA member.

Frequency: One medal is awarded each year.
