Program Overview

We are looking for one Associate or Full Member to share their unique professional perspective, generate meaningful stories, and represent the 'Action!' of our profession before, during, and after the ASLA 2026 Conference on Landscape Architecture.

Included in the Award:

  • Complimentary Full Registration to ASLA 2026 (Los Angeles).
  • Hotel accommodations in the official ASLA block.
  • Featured visibility across ASLA national channels and Land8.

Note: Travel/Airfare is not included.

How to Apply

Step 1: Post for WLAM (April 1–30)

  • Publish at least one social post on Instagram or LinkedIn using a WLAM prompt.
  • Include #WLAM2026 and tag @nationalasla.

Step 2: Submit Your Application

  • Complete the online form, including your membership info and a link to your post.
  • In 250 words or fewer, tell us: "Why is attending ASLA 2026 important for you at this stage of your career?"

The Commitment

One "Selection Announcement" post and a ~500-word article.

One live social highlight and participation in a social takeover or Podcast Lounge interview.

A ~500-word recap article focusing on mid-career takeaways.

Selection Timeline

• April 1–30: Application & WLAM Participation Period. 
• Early May: Review process by ASLA internal panel.
• Mid-May: Ambassador officially announced.
• September 16-18: ASLA 2026 Conference on Landscape Architecture in Los Angeles.
