What to expect 

The summit brings together established and emerging voices who are addressing climate change, biodiversity, and equity through initiatives big and small. Through a curated collection of keynote presentations, lightning talks, workshops, and panel discussions, the summit is meant to deepen the commitment and resolve of landscape architects to move forward and find ways to get things done.  

Attendees can earn up to 14.75 Professional Development Hours through the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES), meeting the health, safety, and welfare (HSW) requirements. An optional third day of the summit will include various field sessions in Detroit to illustrate the ideas, innovation, and actions presented during the first two days.  

Celebrating 60 Years of LAF 

In addition, LAF will celebrate 60 years of impact and legacy with a reception-style event on the first evening of the summit. Since LAF’s founding in 1966, our dedication to increasing the transformative impact of landscape architects is more important than ever.
