The Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) is currently in the process of revising its Accreditation Standards as outlined in the November 4th issue of LAND. In addition to the LAAB 2025 Standards Revision Survey that is open until December 15, 2025, LAAB is hosting four virtual town halls to solicit direct input into its Standards revision process. Through these town halls, LAAB will gather insights from the landscape architecture academic and professional communities, including current and former Board members, Roster of Visiting Evaluators (ROVE) members, educators, administrators, students, practitioners, and other constituents in the field regarding emerging legal, social, and technological trends that impact landscape architectural accreditation in the United States and its territories.
- Standard criteria on faculty sufficiency
- Standard criteria addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
- The influence of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) on landscape architecture education.

We look forward to your participation in the upcoming LAAB outreach activities. If you would like to submit written feedback in addition to or in lieu of the survey, please email Kris Pritchard for consideration.
