Health and Safety:

In order to ensure the health and well-being of all attendees, we will require proof of vaccination or a negative test for entry into the ASLA 2021 Conference on Landscape Architecture, consistent with current CDC advice.

The American Society of Landscape Architects requires everyone to wear a mask in all areas in the building, with no exceptions.

The ever changing pandemic requires us to carefully monitor federal and local regulations and adjust as necessary in order to provide a successful and memorable in-person conference

The Music City Center(MCC)'s HVAC system and air quality is based on their sustainability efforts and their LEED Gold certification. They have placed a high priority on indoor air quality. During the construction of the facility, the MCC chose to use low VOC paints and MERV 13 air filters (comparable to healthcare facilities) for all air handlers. Additionally, outdoor air exchange rates can be maximized through manual operation controls.
