Matthew Copp, ASLA, represents the Mississippi Chapter having first joined ASLA as a student member while attending Mississippi State University. Over the last eight years, Copp has been actively serving in a variety of roles on the Mississippi chapter’s executive committee. Copp chaired the 2022 Alabama-Mississippi Twin States Conference held in Oxford, Mississippi while serving as Chapter president. Recognizing that volunteering is crucial to the success of any organization, Copp accepted an appointment to serve on the Membership Engagement Committee. Copp is a landscape architect at a garden center and landscape company providing design-build services in north Mississippi and the metropolitan Memphis area with a focus on single and multi-family residential and light commercial projects. While not volunteering with ASLA, Copp enjoys traveling with his wife, attending concerts, fishing, and cooking.
