Ken Brooks, FASLA

Kenneth R. Brooks, FASLA, FCELA, PLA, is the Arizona Chapter Trustee.   He is Professor of Landscape Architecture in The Design School at Arizona State University. Ken joined ASLA in 1977 and has been active in chapter and national committees and through elected Chapter leadership positions.  He has professional experience in private and public practice, however, most of his nearly 50-year career has been as a professional educator, helping to preparing future generations of landscape architects and participating in the advancement of our discipline.  Ken has also promoted and served our profession through his participation and leadership positions in the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture, the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board, The Roster of Visiting Evaluators, and the LA Foundation Performance Resources for Educators initiatives.  He continues to be a strong proponent for helping LAs evolve and advance our collective effectiveness through applied scholarship.
