Curt Millay, FASLA, is the Chief of Staff of the American Society of Landscape Architects where he oversees the Society’s governance processes and manages special projects. He holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech. Prior to joining ASLA, he practiced in a small urban-design-focused landscape architecture firm in Washington, DC where his project work included institutional and mixed-use development sites, historic landscapes, parks, and play areas. Curt is licensed in the state of Virginia and holds a LEED AP. In 2016 he was elected to membership in Lambda Alpha International, the honorary land economics society, in recognition of his contributions to ASLA and the profession of landscape architecture. In 2024, he received the ASLA Presidents Medal and was elevated to the Council of Fellows in 2025.
