About Benjamin Baker, ASLA

Ben is a landscape architect residing in Southwest Michigan.  He has been involved with ASLA in various capacities, since he was a student at Michigan State University.  Some recent involvement includes Michigan Chapter President for two terms, National Leadership Development Committee member and chair, and currently as Trustee.  Ben says, “ASLA has been an integral part of my career, I’ve made great friends and connections through the society.  And I’ve realized how important the work that ASLA does to support our members and advocate for the profession”.  Outside of work, Ben enjoys tending to his garden, keeping chickens, volunteering with 4H, and tinkering with vintage motorcycles and scooters.
