A Year of Impact: A Future of Possibility
In 2024, ASLA delivered measurable results for the profession. The Society tracked and responded to more than 170 licensure-related bills, helped secure passage of the Outdoors for All Act, and convened over 6,500 professionals at the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture. ASLA expanded education and equity initiatives, launched new AI-focused learning programs, and inducted 40 members into the Council of Fellows. The organization also advanced climate leadership, releasing its first business operations emissions baseline and expanding its advocacy for nature-based solutions nationally and internationally. This report documents how ASLA paired listening with action to strengthen practice, policy, and professional leadership.
