What To Do Before You Submit a LA CES Course
Before submitting a course for the first time, providers must:
- Agree that the course meets all approval criteria found in the LA CES guidelines.
- Finalize a course description and learning outcomes for the course.
- Secure a location (city, state). Note: this does not apply to distance education.
- Schedule the event. The course must be submitted in advance.
- Determine the number of Professional Development Hours (PDH). Please see how to calculate for site tours and distance education.
- Determine whether the course qualifies for Health, Safety, and Welfare classification. Finalize all instructors and provider their name(s) and affiliation(s).
