Data to Drive Climate-Positive Outcomes

Have a bold, data-driven idea that’s helping shape a more climate-smart, equitable, and resilient future?

Through next Tuesday, July 22, ASLA is accepting submissions for the 2025 Game Changer series—fast-paced, 10-minute presentations at the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in New Orleans this October. (By the way, two more July deadlines coming up: the ASLA Emerging Professionals Design Competition and the Historic American Landscapes Survey (HALS) Challenge both close on July 31.)

We're looking for ideas that reflect the ASLA Climate Action Plan and use performance metrics—carbon, biodiversity, equity, or others—to show real impact.

How to submit:

1. Pitch your idea in two sentences.
2. Record a short video (under 2 minutes, ideally less than one) describing your concept. No fancy production needed—just have fun!

Top submissions will be selected to take the stage at ASLA 2025. The winning Game Changer receives $500 toward professional development.
