The Field's Greatest Hits of 2024

December 19, 2024

We would like to thank all the Professional Practice Network (PPN) leaders and members who shared their experiences and expertise as authors for The Field blog this year. Thank you for contributing to ASLA's shared body of knowledge in 2024!

Contributions to The Field are by members and for members, and we encourage all ASLA members with an idea or an experience to share with their peers in landscape architecture to write for The Field. Fresh content appears weekly, and 89 posts were published in 2024—more than 120,000 words by 100+ contributors.

New year's resolution suggestion: connect with your PPN!

If these 2024 highlights have sparked your interest, and you want to help make future blog posts, virtual events, and conference gatherings happen, then PPN leadership is a great way to engage with your PPN all throughout the new year. PPN activities are much more feasible (and fun!) to organize when there are a few PPN volunteers lending a helping hand to make things happen.

Appointments are for one year, and all ASLA members are welcome to volunteer. Most leadership teams meet once a month via Teams or Zoom during regular working hours. Come nerd out with like-minded professionals about your practice area niche!

But if you're not quite ready to join your PPN's leadership team, there are many ways to be an active PPN member!

ASLA’s Professional Practice team wishes you a happy new year and we look forward to continuing our work together—here’s to a successful and productive 2025!
