ASLA Celebrates Native American Heritage Month

 ASLA is celebrating Native American Heritage Month by highlighting the contributions of Native Americans to landscape architecture. We have also created resources to help educate members, K-12 educators, and the public about the contributions and influence of Native American landscape architects on the profession and the nation. You can find these resources on asla.org.

This month ASLA is also celebrating its new partnership with the American Indian Council of Architects and Engineers. This partnership will allow ASLA to expand available resources and collaborate more closely with Native American landscape architects and members. 

Finally, the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in San Diego features a record number of ASLA Diversity Summit participants and includes sessions on Native American influence on the profession:
