Help Set the Agenda—Then Take It to Congress

Shape the future of landscape architecture! Take our priorities survey and join Virtual Advocacy Day to impact national policy.

ASLA members have two important opportunities to shape the future of the profession—by sharing your priorities and by taking your voice directly to Congress.

First, take the Federal and State Legislative Priorities Survey. In less than five minutes, you can help guide ASLA’s advocacy agenda for the next two years. Your input ensures policymakers understand the real-world challenges and opportunities facing landscape architects and the communities we serve. The survey is conducted once every two years to align with legislative cycles, making your feedback especially critical right now. Submit your responses by June 17.

Then, put those priorities into action at ASLA Virtual Advocacy Day on July 22. Registration is now free, thanks to the generous support of industry partners including Victor Stanley, USA Shade, Landscape Structures, and Hunter.

Advocacy Day gives you the chance to meet virtually with Members of Congress and their staff to advance key issues like funding for active transportation, trails, and community infrastructure—programs currently at risk.

Participants receive advocacy training, scheduled congressional meetings, and ready-to-use toolkits so you can confidently represent the profession. No prior advocacy experience is needed.

Spots are limited to 140 participants and are filling up. Register by June 21 to secure your place.

Make your voice count—take the survey and join us in advocating for landscape architecture at the highest levels.
