ASLA 2025 Preview: Professional Practice Network Events

October 2, 2025
Professional Practice Network (PPN) leaders and members share their experiences and expertise as authors for The Field blog, as facilitators of virtual gatherings for members, and as presenters for ASLA Online Learning webinars throughout the year, but for a few special days each fall, PPNs also organize in-person gatherings at the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture.

If you are heading to New Orleans next week, this will be the place to see the PPNs in action and get a sense of what these practice area-focused groups are all about.

Make the most of your PPN experience by exploring what’s planned (download the app to get these on your schedule!) and get ready to make new connections in NOLA.

To start building your schedule, download the conference mobile app. If you have the app from last year's conference or earlier, please delete that first and then download it fresh.

Log in to the app with your email (the one you used to register for the conference) and confirmation ID (your badge number). The confirmation ID is located at the top of your registration confirmation email (look for a message from ASLA Customer Service) and on your conference badge.

Browse the program and create a personal schedule by tapping the star next to program titles. All the PPN events listed above can be found under Conference Schedule > Affiliate & Networking Events. Please note: events with a ticket icon below the title require an additional ticket purchase. Enable notifications to receive live updates about key events and information during the conference.

For more conference content from the PPNs, see these previous posts for education session highlights by PPN practice area: Campus Planning & Design through Historic Preservation and International Practice through Women in Landscape Architecture. If you're feeling nostalgic and would like to travel back in time to the ASLA Conference's previous trip to New Orleans, see the 2016 PPN events recap.
