More Benefits, More Tools, More Support

The 2026 benefits overhaul is designed as an investment in your success and everyday practice. New and enhanced benefits to include:
  • Unlimited online education* and expanded access to ASLA’s growing library of on-demand content for all ASLA members. Free SKILL | ED access for Associate members, helping emerging professionals build leadership, business development, and firm-value skills
  • A revitalized asla.org with an AI-powered chatbot that makes ASLA’s professional knowledge base easier to access, anytime
  • New research guides on climate resilience, policy frameworks, and emerging practice areas
  • Climate resilience toolboxes help you lead the profession’s most urgent challenges
  • A revamped JobLink career center with a modern digital platform and better search capabilities, including a planned mentorship hub.
These are designed to ensure that every dollar of your dues provides you with real, tangible value in the form of learning, tools, and connections.

A Streamlined Associate Membership Path

To better support emerging professionals, ASLA is simplifying and improving the Associate membership structure starting in January 2026.

Associate Member dues will be set at 50% of the Full member rate each year—simple, predictable.

This change eliminates the old 4th- and 5th-year Associate tiers, which added complexity without improving engagement or value. The new three-year Associate pathway is easier to understand, simpler to budget for, and better aligned with ASLA’s commitment to supporting emerging professionals on their path to full membership.

Student dues remain $0, ensuring the pathway into the profession is accessible from the very start.

Phased, Modest, and Transparent Dues Increase

To sustain and expand these high-impact programs, ASLA is making a modest, phased dues adjustment:
  • Full, Affiliate, and International member dues will increase by $30 on January 1, 2026, and 2027. Associate member dues will be set at half of the Full Member rate for each of the first three years
  • Dues can be paid monthly at no additional cost. For Associate members, this equates to less than $19 per month for National Dues
  • Student dues remain $0, keeping the pathway into the profession accessible from the very start.

Your ASLA membership connects you to a community of peers, mentors, and allies who help you grow your skills, confidence, and career. Professionally, your dues power the advocacy, research, and public-facing work that protects licensure, elevates the value of landscape architecture, and positions the profession as a leading climate and resilience solution.

Together, we’re not just maintaining a strong professional home—we’re shaping a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient future for the communities we serve.

*This benefit does not include recordings from the current year's ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture. Complimentary access to SKILL|ED programs is exclusively for Associate members.
