RFP: Planning Services for Urban Bike Facilities in Shaker Heights, OH

Description: The City of Shaker Heights has received funding to implement new urban bike facilities from the Van Aken District to Lee Road and is seeking proposals from a team of qualified professional planners, engineers and landscape architects and/or designers to prepare a detailed feasibility study and design plans for this new multiuse network. Deliverables will provide the City of Shaker Heights with best practices, strategic direction, and designs for implementing this critical connection from the Van Aken District, Shaker’s new downtown, to planned bike facilities on the Lee Road Corridor. Adding to the City’s existing network of bike facilities will benefit residents and visitors by expanding transportation options and creating rights-of-way where it is not possible to build off-road paths.
