Opening Remarks (15 minutes) — Torey Carter-Conneen, CEO of ASLA & Matt Miller, CEO of CLARB

Segment 1: Empowering Boards and Chapters in Licensure Defense (90 minutes) — Hear from and ask questions of experts on best practices for communicating the value of licensure and licensure boards, leading licensure reform efforts, and engaging in the political process. Marta Zaniewski, Executive Director of the Alliance for Responsible Professional Licensing; Cristina Vessels, Venable Law; and Greg Duckworth, Former South Carolina representative.

Break (10 minutes)

Segment 2: Making Proactive Change (90 minutes) — Board and Chapter representatives will discuss the different approaches used to implement the Uniform Standard, including an interactive breakout session with all participants. Bryce Olberding, ASLA, from Idaho; Katie Wilson from Wyoming; Jen Wagner from North Carolina, ASLA; and Lea Ann Macknally from Alabama.

Segment 3: Building Successful Internal and External Relationships (50 minutes) — Learn about effective approaches for building internal and external relationships that are essential for licensure policy successes. Julie Hildebrand, Texas Board Executive, and Brent Luck, ASLA, from Texas; Kevin White, ASLA, from Florida; Nancy Hoines, ASLA, Executive Director of the Nebraska Dakotas Chapter; and Doug Boyer, Ohio ASLA.

Closing remarks (10 minutes) — Emily O'Mahoney, ASLA President & Carisa McMullen, CLARB President.
