Description: The deadline for the 2020 AZ Awards has been extended to 11:59 pm (EST) Friday, February 21, 2020. AZURE Magazine’s international architecture and design competition is acknowledged for its influence and significance within the global design and architecture sphere, and is a unique opportunity for architects and designers to receive the international exposure and acknowledgment that their exceptional work deserves.
Now in its 10th year, the AZ Awards has grown in impact and stature to become a significant international benchmark for excellence, attracting entries from some of the most highly innovative firms around the world.
Finalists and winners are celebrated at the AZ Awards Gala in Toronto in June 2020 and published in the AZ Awards Annual issue of AZURE.
Key dates:
- February 21, 2020 – Submissions deadline
- April 2020 – Finalists are announced and People’s Choice voting opens
- June 19 2020 – Winners are revealed at the 2020 AZ Awards Gala and published in the AZ Awards Annual issue of AZURE Magazine
Eligibility:
- Designers and design firms from all disciplines
- Architects, landscape architects and architectural firms
- Post-secondary students enrolled in design and architecture programs in 2019
- Clients and manufacturers
- Projects must be completed by December 31, 2019
- Products must be prototyped or in production
- Concepts must have been developed or presented for the first time in 2019
