As part of LA Metro’s initiative to invest back into its community, the LA Metro Office of Sustainability started an educational program called Growing a Greener Workforce (GGW). GGW is a free training program that Metro is offering to those interested in the environment and sustainability.

Extreme Heat for Contractors and Landscapers is certification for construction professionals to learn the best practices around improvements and materials for buildings and landscapes to reduce the long-term extreme heat-related impacts of climate change.

Created for construction professionals interested in learning strategies to create safer and healthier environments on a local level that will create a more resilient California.

This course is an online lecture on November 6, 12 - 2:30 PM PDT.
