The National Capital Planning Commission’s Centennial exhibit, Planning Washington: Capital and Community, offers an opportunity to understand how ambitions to create an inspiring and beautiful city have wrestled with the reality of responding to the needs of all residents. The exhibit is on display at at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in the Popular Library, 901 G Street, NW.
