Description:
The International Federation of Landscape Architects, IFLA welcomes nominations for the 2022 Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Award (SGJA). The deadline for submission is January 15, 2022.
SGJA is the highest honor IFLA can bestow on a living Landscape Architect in recognition of their achievements and contributions towards the welfare of the society and the environment. The award is bestowed annually on an academic or practitioner whose work and achievements are not only internationally respected, but also promote the profession of Landscape Architecture.
Nominations for IFLA 2022 SGJA are welcomed from IFLA member Associations, Delegates, Individual members and members of Allied professional organizations, worldwide. The nominations must be submitted to Sally Robertshaw, Executive Secretary, IFLA at admin@iflaworld.org, by January 15, 2022.
The nomination format should be a brief letter, not longer than 3 pages, and MUST contain the following:
- A description of the nominee’s qualifications
- A summary of background and achievements
- A description of Professional work and/or teaching and publications
- A review of the nominee’s international contributions
