Patricia Algara, ASLA

Patricia was born and raised in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She is the founder and president of award-winning firm BASE Landscape Architecture Inc. A recognized leader in sustainable design and community involvement, Patricia creates landscapes that immerse people of all backgrounds and abilities in learning, exploration, and play. She also founded the non-profit, With Honey In the Heart, which creates healthy habitats for pollinators. Patricia is the co-chair of Latinx in Architecture San Francisco.

Diane Jones Allen, FASLA, PLA, D. Eng.

Diane is Program Director and Professor of Landscape Architecture, University of Texas, Arlington. She is Principal Landscape Architect with DesignJones LLC, which received the 2016 ASLA Community Service Award. Diane is part of one of two cross-disciplinary teams that won the 2020 SOM Foundation Research Prize focused on examining social justice in urban contexts. She also received an appointment as a Fellow for Garden and Landscape Studies at Dumbarton Oaks for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Adrienne McCray, ASLA

Adrienne is a principal project manager and licensed landscape architect with Lee and Associates, Inc. with over 19 years of experience on landscape architecture, urban design, and master planning projects. Her work ranges from small community spaces to large city master plans. As a principal, she works closely with her team to deliver creative and sustainable strategies and been a champion for community-based equitable design.

Ann Nguyen, ASLA

Ann is a landscape architect and planner in Denver, Colorado. She leads public interest-based projects and creates accessible and equitable design solutions for open spaces, National Parks, and civic landscapes internationally. Ann focuses on balancing historic value and natural attributes to enhance the qualities of our communities and culture.

Ujijji Davis Williams, ASLA

Ujijji is a practicing landscape architect, urban planner, and researcher based in Detroit. She is the recipient of the 2020 Michigan ASLA Emerging Professional of the Year Award and 2019 National ASLA Bradford Williams Medal of Excellence for her design literature. She is the Founding Partner of JIMA Studio, a landscape architectural design and planning studio based in Detroit.
