Valerie Aymer, ASLA

Valerie is a licensed landscape architect with 20 years of experience in private consulting and academia. She joined the faculty of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Cornell University in 2015 where she teaches several technical courses, including site engineering. She is also a member of the NYS Board for Landscape Architecture, a Cornell Botanic Gardens Faculty Fellow, a member of the Black Landscape Architects Network (BlackLAN), and a participant in ASLA’s Diversity Summit program.

Aida M. Curtis, ASLA

Aida is principal of Curtis + Rogers Design Studio, Inc., in Miami, Florida. She has 40 years of experience as a landscape architect, arborist, certified landscape inspector, and leader of her firm. Aida’s portfolio includes award-winning transportation, recreational, institutional and civic projects. She serves on the ASLA Climate Action Committee and lectures on landscape architecture’s ability to address climate change.

Alexandra Mei, ASLA

Alexandra is a landscape architect in St. Louis and crosses practice, academia, and advocacy to push toward a more environmentally just and ecologically resilient public realm. She has most recently taken on the role of Director of Landscape Architecture at Christner Architects. She is currently the president of the St. Louis ASLA Chapter.
