ASLA’s New Member Magazine Needs You

ASLA is launching an all-new publication that will highlight a wide range of member projects, initiatives, and activities—created by members for members.

The new member magazine will be mailed with LAM beginning this summer. Share it with colleagues, developers, architects, project partners, students, community groups, and local government and show them what ASLA members can do.

ANY ASLA member can contribute, and EVERY Chapter should be represented. But we need member contributions to make this publication shine!

There are two ways to be a part of the new member magazine:

  1. Help us choose a name. With a limit of one to two words, the name should be dynamic and carry the idea of the whole profession. Submit your NAME. If we select your idea, you’ll win your choice of an ASLA Yeti tumbler or T-shirt.

  2. Contribute stories, ideas, and photos. Here are a few ideas, but feel free to send your own. Fill out the short form to share your ideas.

    • Chapter Focus: Volunteer days, student portfolio reviews, or other activities held by your chapter other than conferences.

    • Member Highlights: Milestones (no obits), Awards or Recognitions, Community Volunteers, New Members, etc.

    • Q&A: Fill out a brief prewritten questionnaire about your firm.

    • Quick Takes: What do you think? A short response to an important issue.

    • Showcase your award-winning projects.

    • Spotlight ON: Share what’s unique about your corner of the profession.
      • Small Firms
      • Public Practitioners
      • Residential Practitioners
      • Educators

Chapters and members will receive support with writing and developing articles.

Fill out the short form to let us know you’re interested, and we’ll get in touch.
