Our mission is to bring Play That Moves You® to communities around the world. To us, Play That Moves You means something more. It means observing, researching, innovating, and designing products and playspaces that inspire everyone to find the best of themselves through play. It means inclusion through universally designed play events and playscapes that bring equity and understanding to a world desperate for something better. It means education and sharing what we’ve learned through CEU courses and continuing to learn ourselves through both primary and secondary research. It means partnerships to create environments for children and communities to move and develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. This is a privilege for us now and into the future. Sure, we’re a 101-year-old company, but we’re just getting started.

Bringing Play That Moves You to communities around the world means we are focused on being the best in the industry by offering products that marry form and function and bring everyone together in play, recreation, and outdoor fitness. We research how children play and engage with their environments to ensure that they are getting the highest level of play and development. We create products that offer people of all ages and all abilities the opportunity for connection and enjoyment. We work to create an element of excitement and surprises so over and over again, children can experience the joy of discovery.

We all share one earth and we want to do our part to preserve it for future generations. We show our commitment to a sustainable future with ISO 14001:2015 certification and environmental programs. Additionally, 100% of our factory’s electricity comes from wind and other renewable sources. Because of this, Burke earned the green power partner designation from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
