ASLA Members Join the 2018 Class of 40 Under 40

ASLA warmly congratulates Tiffany Beamer, ASLA, Michael Johnson, PLA, ASLA, and Ryan T. McEnroe, ASLA. Building Design + Construction Magazine named the trio to its 40 Under 40 class of 2018.  

The annual competition recognizes professionals from around the world who are under 40-years-old and have demonstrated great success in and service to the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. 

Beamer is a partner and studio head for OLIN | LOS ANGELES. Among her accomplishments, she became the youngest partner (at age 30) in OLIN’s history. She also manages 15 to 25 professionals in the Los Angeles and Philadelphia offices. 

Johnson is co-leader of urban design practice, SmithGroup, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He received the SCUP 2016 Merit Award for Indiana University Bloomington master plan and developed “Mix Tape Zoning” to speed up plan review/permitting in Detroit. 

McEnroe is an associate with Quinn Evans Architects, Washington, D.C. He joined Quinn Evans Architects in 2016 as architect and landscape architect. He also supervised the National Zoo’s $30 million Birdhouse Experience Migration Project. 

The September 2018 issue of Building Design + Construction will feature the 40 Under 40 list and the magazine will honor the winners at its annual AEC Emerging Leaders Meetup at the Greenbuild Conference in Chicago.
