Chapter Elections Calendar
- April 2025 – Chapter Secretary issues a call
for potential nominees to chapter membership. Personally reach out to potential
future leaders.
- Late Spring – Chapter Nominating Committee
to consider the suggestions received and prepare a slate consisting of two
nominees for each open position.
- June 1, 2025 – Chapter Executive Committee
approves slate.
- No Later than July 14, 2025 – Ballots sent to
chapter’s Full, Associate & International members.
- 30-day Period to Vote – At the close of the election the Tellers Committee verifies results;
advise candidates of results.
- August 15, 2025 (60 days prior to Fall CPC Meeting) – Deadline to report 2025-2026 election results to national via online form.
- October 14, 2025 – Newly elected 2025-2026 chapter officers take office; the term is 10/14/2025 through 9/18/2026.
General Notes:
- Only Full members may run for the Trustee position.
- Associate and International members may hold the office of President, President-Elect, & Vice President.
- Only Full, Associate and International members can vote in chapter leadership elections.
- Chapters must submit their 2025-2026 leadership
to national 60-days prior to annual Conference on Landscape Architecture.
