Culture, Identity, and Design - 1.0 PDH (LA CES/HSW)

How do we recognize the multiple histories, cultural traditions, identities, and populations that have shaped landscapes of the past and could construct landscapes of the future? This panel will explore the ways in which representation and equity can creatively inform design processes and be intentional outcomes of our work.

Speakers:

  • Sara Zewde, ASLA, Principal & Assistant Professor, Studio Zewde & Harvard University
  • Stephen Gray, Principal, Grayscale Collaborative
  • Chris Reed, FASLA, Design Director, Stoss; Professor in Practice, Harvard GSD, Stoss / Harvard GSD

This webinar is an education session recording from the ASLA 2019 Conference on Landscape Architecture.
