The Field is Your Forum

The Field’s top 5 most-viewed posts published in 2025 so far.

Since the launch of The Field blog, more than 1,250 posts have been published by ASLA's Professional Practice Networks (PPNs), from more than 635 contributors.

ASLA's Professional Practice team would like to thank all the PPN leaders and ASLA members who have shared their experiences and expertise as authors, editors, and supporters of The Field, and remind all ASLA members that you are eligible to join this illustrious cohort of Field contributors.

Do you have a project or experience you want to share with your peers in landscape architecture? All ASLA members are encouraged to write for The Field—we want to hear from you!

Posts don't have to be very long—700 to 1,000 words or so—and can take a variety of forms, from interviews to book reviews to first-person accounts of experiences on projects—lessons learned on a project; tips, tricks, and best practices; project summaries that discuss process and design...anything you feel would be of interest to others in the field!

To help spark your brainstorming for future Field posts, here are the top 10 most-viewed posts published this year so far:
