ASLA needs your input. Help us understand how biodiversity impacts your work. With your guidance, we can enhance our collective efforts to promote biodiversity conservation and foster ecological stewardship.

This survey will: 

• Help us better understand your perspectives, experiences, and aspirations regarding biodiversity conservation.
• Identify project trends incorporating Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) goals
• Recognize gaps in knowledge and resources and how can ASLA address them
• Pinpoint synergistic opportunities to scale up BNG 

Your participation in this survey is invaluable. Please share your ideas and suggestions openly and honestly. 

ASLA will compile and distribute the results of this survey to all members and the media. Your answers will also inform future programs and resources developed by the ASLA Biodiversity and Climate Action Committee.

Definitions

Biodiversity: Variation among all forms of life on Earth. The three levels of biodiversity are genetic diversity, species diversity, and ecosystem diversity.

Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG): Biodiversity net gain is a way to measure the increase of biodiversity in a given area through conservation, enhancement, restoration and land management.
