Resilience Master Plan

Date: 5/24/2021 - 7/2/2021

Type: RFPs / RFQs

LA CES approved?: No

Location(s): Louisiana

Description: The Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana requests qualified consultants to submit proposals to develop a resilience master plan for Calcasieu and Cameron Parishes. This master plan must both align with the region’s ongoing recovery needs while creating a framework that holistically supports the region’s long-term resilience, supported by strategies and solutions related to land use, housing, infrastructure, coastal land loss, economic development and diversity, workforce development, social vulnerability, and natural and cultural resources. Further, it must serve as a compass for guiding future investments – including potential new revenue from disaster recovery, pandemic, and 3 stimulus sources – that support this vision and serve the health, safety, and welfare of the community over time, from flood mitigation and infrastructure improvements to community planning. The RFP invites competitive proposals from qualified Proposers interested in providing consulting and planning services to the Foundation to assess, evaluate, and provide solutions that address the long-term social, economic, and environmental challenges of Southwest Louisiana.
