The Prado

The Prado comes, seemingly, out of nowhere. The neighborhood edge drops away and, elevated by two flagstone steps, is the Prado mall, designed by landscape architect Arthur Shurcliff and architect Henry Shepley.

Paul Revere makes another appearance on the cultural landscape of the North End and beckons visitors and residents alike into the wide, tree lined mall. The space sits between the Bullfinch Church along Hanover Street and the Old North Church and serves as a passage through a tight residential block in this historic neighborhood. Front and center, is the impressive statue of Paul Revere.
