Building Up and Planning Out: Centering People in Long Range Land Use Plans — 1.0 PDH (LA CES/HSW)

Hosted by the ASLA Landscape—Land Use Planning PPN

Join us for a deep dive into the limits, challenges, and opportunities of implementing large-scale and long-range land use plans through community-led and resident-driven planning. This series of presentations and panel discussion will explore high level and brass tacks approaches for working to implement Baltimore’s Green Network Plan in two Baltimore neighborhoods. Together we will compare notes and unpack solutions and inspirations from locally nuanced, affirmative, capacity-building approaches to center people in the implementation of large-scale land planning efforts.
