Emerald View Park Master Plan

Date: 7/19/2019 - 8/22/2019
Type: RFPs / RFQs
LA CES approved?: No
Location(s): Pennsylvania
Description: The City of Pittsburgh, Department of City Planning (DCP) is accepting proposals to perform consulting services involving the development of a Master Plan for Emerald View Park. The project budget is not to exceed $135,000.

Emerald View Park is the most recent of Pittsburgh’s five regional parks. Pittsburgh’s OpenSpacePGH Plan and Regional Parks Master Plan both recommend the consolidation of individually designed parks and greenway areas to form a larger, connected regional park. Consequently, Emerald View has recently been officially designated as a regional park, but it lacks a comprehensive master plan to guide redevelopment and future investment. Having received a Community Conservation and Partnerships Program (C2P2) Grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), the City seeks to act upon these recommendations, in coordination with partners, to create a more cohesive regional park with its own identity. All planning and work products must align with the DCNR’s planning grant program requirements.
