Become a Part of the ASLA Fund Heritage Circle

Has something changed in your life? Retired? Sold a business? Had a grandchild? Had a grandchild graduate from college? If so, it may be time to update your estate plan to reflect your current circumstances and commitments.

When you meet with your attorney or financial advisor to revise your plan, please consider adding the ASLA Fund* to your list of beneficiaries after you have satisfied your family and other commitments. For language you can share with your advisor, please see www.asla.org/heritagecircle. If you prefer, you can also designate the ASLA Fund as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401k, or 403b retirement account. Your financial institution can show you how.

By including the ASLA Fund in your estate plan, you help ensure that the American Society of Landscape Architects can maintain its commitment to effective educational programming that advances stewardship of our natural and built environments and promotes excellence in the profession in the years to come, independent of the economic cycles.

Should you choose to include the ASLA Fund in your estate plan, please let us know you have done so and we will add your name to the list of members of the ASLA Fund Heritage Circle.

If you have any questions, please contact Ron Sears, director, Resource Development, at rsears@asla.org or call (202) 216-2369.

* The ASLA Fund is the 501)c)(3) charitable foundation of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
