SITES AP Chapter Challenge Results

The results are in! Congratulations to the Washington Chapter for having the greatest number of people take the SITES® AP exam with a total of nine, and to the Nevada Chapter for having the greatest percentage of their membership with a total of eight. These two chapters have been awarded a half-day SITES workshop.

The total number of SITES AP exam registrants was 174 as of March 31; a total of 128 ASLA members took the exam by March 31 as part of the contest challenge. Congratulations to all of you for your support and commitment to the Sustainable SITES Initiative (SITES® ) and for leading among allied professionals as SITES APs.

Although the chapter contest has ended, you can still take advantage of the early-bird special pricing as an ASLA member at $300, which ends June 30, 2017. Once you register, you will have up to one year to schedule your exam. Register for the exam here.

Please note that there will be an option to take the exam during the annual meeting again this year on October 24 at 8:00 a.m. at the Culver City Prometric location, 5601 W. Slauson Ave., #110, Culver City, California 90230. ASLA will be providing a free bus to and from the test center location. When you register, choose the Culver City location and please fill out the permission form to share your contact details so that ASLA can reserve space for you on the bus.

The SITES accredited professional exam provides landscape architects with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, expertise, and commitment to the profession. It also establishes acommon framework to define the profession of sustainable landscape design and development.
