StudioINSITE, Denver, has hired Nathaniel Krohn as a landscape designer.
Krohn is a 2014 graduate of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a bachelor of landscape architecture and a bachelor of science in design, both degrees awarded with honors and highest distinction. His minor was in community and regional planning.
For three years Krohn was part of a community-based design program in Puerta Ayora, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, where UNL landscape architecture, planning, and architecture students worked on local projects including the development of a national park master plan, a neighborhood park framework plan, and a cultural corridor. Through this service-learning approach, he also worked on projects for rural communities in Nebraska.
Established in 2001 and committed to the design of meaningful and memorable places, studioINSITE is a national leader in urban design, campus planning, and landscape architecture. The firm’s projects include the planning and design of streetscapes, districts and communities, mixed-use and commercial developments, multifamily housing, higher education, health care and corporate campuses, and municipal and cultural facilities. Its offices are located in the RiverNorth (RiNo) art district north of downtown Denver.
