Cortney Kirk, ASLA, with Copley Wolff Design Group, a landscape architecture and planning firm located in downtown Boston, and Joseph S. Imamura, ASLA, with the GSA Office of the Chief Architect, have been named to Building Design + Construction’s 40 under 40. Building Design + Construction’s 40 under 40 is a class of 40 individuals who have distinguished themselves by their career achievements, service to their professions and communities, and active participation in charitable work. This is the first time that landscape architects have been included among the honorees.
Tyler Kiggins, ASLA, joins the firm as a LEED certified landscape architect, with a history of serving a variety of national and international clients on streetscape improvements, public parks, and campus projects.
Eric Pearse is a landscape architect with a career spanning a range of national and international projects including urban master plans, waterfronts, parks, gardens, and urban design. Pearse’s range of skills and project types benefits the urban infill and campus practices on a variety of current projects.
Laura Culver is a landscape designer joining the firm after serving the Institute for a Sustainable Environment (University of Oregon) and Longwood Gardens. She currently works with the design team on several parks and recreation projects including Confluence Park in Denver.
Luke Haas has joined R.A. Smith National, a multidisciplined civil engineering and surveying firm in Brookfield, Wisconsin, as a landscape architect.
Haas has completed landscape design and site planning projects for residential and commercial developments, lifestyle centers, courtyards/plazas, and community parks. He has worked on projects throughout Wisconsin including Millennium Park Lifestyle Center in Bellevue; Coonen Neighborhood Park in Combined Locks; Falk Corporation Memorial in Milwaukee; Falls Distribution Center in Menomonee Falls; Prairie Lakes Development in Sun Prairie; and numerous residential projects.
Haas holds a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a registered landscape architect in the state of Wisconsin. He will be collaborating with other landscape architects, civil engineers, ecologists, and 3-D visualization specialists at R.A. Smith National.
