September 25, 2013
6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department and the Margaret T. Hance Park Master Plan Design Team invite you to participate in creating the new vision for Hance Park.

AzASLA is gathering big and small ideas from all corners of the city and would like your input on the redesign of the 32-acre Hance Park, located on Central Avenue. Surrounded by libraries, museums, historic neighborhoods, light rail, and the arts district, Hance Park can and should be a vibrant, urban park adding real value to our urban core.

California Northern
CANstruction SF Public Exhibition
September 23 – 27, 2013
What is CANstruction? Well, it’s similar to a sand castle contest, but our sculptures are made of canned food. Teams of architects, engineers, and contractors design huge structures. Then these giant, fantastic sculptures can be viewed by the public for several days afterward. When the exhibition is over, the structures get dismantled. All of the canned food and money raised go to feed the hungry in San Francisco and Marin.
