ASLA Issues State Advocacy Priorities Survey: Help Shape ASLA Advocacy in Your State
From professional licensing, to stormwater management, to design for active living, and beyond landscape architects have been involved in shaping the political landscape in state houses across the country. ASLA is committed to supporting our 49 chapters as they work to influence public policy in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. As ASLA Chapters prepare for 2014, ASLA wants to hear from you on the issues that matter to landscape architects in your state.
Please take a few moments to complete this brief survey by Friday, October 11. ASLA staff will compile the results and provide a state by state breakdown of the key issues to each of your chapters’ leadership to arm them with the tools to effectively plan for future chapter advocacy efforts.
Remember, this survey is intended to help ASLA chapters shape public policy at the state level. In early 2014, you will have the opportunity to help shape ASLA’s federal priorities process. If you have questions about ASLA’s support for state and chapter advocacy efforts please contact Government Affairs Managing Director Julia Lent.
