Description: The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) seeks to hire a qualified professional for permit expediting services for its Chinatown Green Streets Demonstration Project (CGSDP). Strategies that allow for water infiltration such as permeable paving and surfaces in the roadway and alleyways will also be incorporated. It will employ responsible and sensitive design that incorporates native plants to encourage pollinators and increase urban biodiversity. It will also design to provide safe access to all users including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit riders of all ages and abilities. The project will be a revitalized street corridor and enhanced environment for community residents, workers, businesses, and visitors to Washington’s historic Chinatown neighborhood.
