Date: 7/20/2017 - 9/29/2017

Type: Competitions / Awards

LA CES approved?: No

Location(s): International

Description: Our Fifth Annual Best of Design Awards is a unique project-based awards program that showcases great buildings and building elements.

Entrants are invited to submit completed works in 42 categories that reflect A|N’s editorial coverage, as well as the interests and obsessions of our readers. Two landscape categories (Public and Private) are featured this year.

The BoD jury will judge entries based on several criteria: strength of the presentation, evidence of innovation, creative use of new technology, sustainability, and, most importantly, good design. Winners and honorable mentions will be published in a special Design Annual, be featured on our website, and receive a limited edition print from Archigram produced especially for A|N.

Landscape projects must have been completed within a year of our deadline. The Best of Design Awards is open to U.S. and international firms, but projects must be located within the U.S. For a full list of categories, guidelines, and jury, visit our site.
