Description: The City of Detroit, in partnership with the Knight Foundation, seeks ambitious, multidisciplinary design teams to join residents in developing a new park in one of Detroit’s vibrant neighborhoods. First place design winners will receive a prize of $10,000 and have their park design implemented by the City of Detroit. Second place design teams will receive a prize of $5,000, and third place will receive a prize of $2,500. Stipends are available for travel to Detroit in August and October of 2017.

For additional information, please visit where you can download the competition brief and register your team before the submission of your application.

The deadline for applications is 12:00 p.m. (EST), Monday, July 31, 2017.
